Baked Oatmeal have you attempted it yet? I notably advocate it! You’ll love that you may make it on Sunday and rewarm it and revel in it for breakfast for the next few days too (if you have a small family this is, in case you don’t, sorry it'll cross in no time). It’s a hearty, delicious manner to start any morning!
components
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter , melted (I used salted)
- 3 cups rolled oats (quick oats works fine too)
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 stages. Butter an eight by using 8-inch baking dish, set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs.
- upload in brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla and salt and whisk until no lumps remain.
- Stir in milk and melted butter then blend in oats.
- Pour into prepared baking dish and spread flippantly (at this point you could refrigerate overnight if desired or bake immediately).
- Bake in preheated oven 30 - forty mins till set.
- reduce into squares and serve heat with fresh fruit, nuts, milk, a bit cream or half of and half, maple syrup or honey if favored.
